Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

Last year, I walked 800 km across Spain on the Camino de Santiago. It was an incredible experience that made me stop and appreciate just how lucky I am.
Recently, this city slicker experienced a small taste of the Australian outback — and its sheer vastness really hit me.
Imagine being sick or seriously injured, but knowing the nearest medical care could be hundreds of kilometers away.
For many Australians living in remote, rural and regional communities, that’s reality.
That’s why the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) matters.
Every year, the RFDS reaches more than 330,000 Australians with emergency retrieval and primary healthcare — roughly one person every two minutes.
So, this October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to raise money and help keep the Flying Doctor flying.
It will test me physically but knowing it could help someone get the care they desperately need makes every kilometer worthwhile.
Please support my challenge and donate whatever you can.
Together, we can help ensure that distance doesn’t determine whether someone gets the care they need.
Keep the Flying Doctor flying.
