Why I'm riding
I'm riding this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

For many Australians living in remote, rural and regional communities, timely access to emergency healthcare isn’t guaranteed. The nearest major hospital can be hours away - a distance that can make all the difference in an emergency.
This became personal last month when my grandmother needed life-saving emergency care that was not available at her local rural hospital. We were lucky enough to have access to helicopter ambulance services which gave her access to specialist care, and the same was possible for my grandfather previously. However, my family and I recognise that many others aren’t so fortunate.
This October, I’m taking part in a month-long fitness challenge to raise awareness and funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), to help ensure Australians can access critical care when and where they need it.
Every year, the RFDS reaches more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services - that’s one person every two minutes.
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and help save lives.
Please donate to my challenge today!
