Why I'm riding

This October, I’m taking the Oceans to Outback challenge global! I'll be walking and cycling through Central America to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Australia is massive, and for remote communities, the RFDS is the only safety net they have. Even though I’m thousands of kilometres away, I'm dedicated to tracking my distance to ensure families in the bush get critical healthcare. Any donation, big or small, helps save lives!

I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.

This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!

Raising funds for the Royal flying Doctor service

Thursday 17th Sep
I’ve decided to push my limits this October by taking on the Oceans to Outback challenge while traveling through Central America! I will be clocking up my kilometres by walking and cycling through diverse terrain, all to raise vital funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Traveling reminds me how vast the world is, and just how crucial emergency medical access is when you are far from home. The RFDS provides 24/7 aeromedical emergency retrieval to the furthest corners of the Australian bush. Every dollar you donate helps them travel further and respond faster. Please consider donating to back my journey and support a fantastic cause!
