Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Our family jokes that the RFDS is like our own family airline. Most of us have taken a trip, or two...
All jokes aside, living where we do, we know firsthand just how vital this service is. It saves everyday people every single day. People just like us, our mates, and our neighbours.
Across Australia, the Flying Doctor reaches more than 330,000 people every year with 24/7 emergency retrieval and healthcare. That’s one person every two minutes.
That’s why Team Barbeques Galore Esperance is taking on the 2026 Oceans to Outback Challenge. And we’d really love your support.
If you see us walking, give us a wave. If you see us running - clearly there's something wrong - call for help.
But most importantly, please follow our link and make a donation.
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
12
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
8
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
7
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
