I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

When I was pregnant with my son Tyson, my waters broke unexpectedly at just 23 weeks. I was rushed to the hospital in Cairns, where I was told that it was too early for them to do anything to help. It was an incredibly scary time.
Thanks to the amazing support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, I was flown to Townsville, where I received the care I needed. I remained there under close watch until Tyson was born at 31½ weeks—healthy, strong, and full of fight.
Without the Royal Flying Doctor Service, things could have turned out very differently. Their swift action and dedication gave my son the best possible start to life, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for this life-saving service — and I’d love your support.
The RFDS provides critical emergency care across rural and remote Australia, flying thousands of people to safety each year in fully equipped aircraft that function like mini-ICUs.
