Why I'm riding
I'm riding this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
I’ve decided to challenge myself this October and do something that feels a little bigger than just a fitness goal.
I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, a cause that I feel really strongly about. We’re incredibly lucky to have access to healthcare when we need it, but for people living in rural and remote parts of Australia, getting that help can be a very different story.
When you’re sick, injured or in an emergency, you shouldn’t have to think about how far away the nearest hospital is. But for some Australians, that hospital can be hours away.
That’s where the RFDS comes in. They travel incredible distances to bring emergency care and essential healthcare to people who might otherwise be hours from help.
So throughout October, I’m going to push myself, get uncomfortable and see how far I can go — all in the hope of raising as much as possible to help keep the Flying Doctor flying.
If my challenge can help someone get the care they need, when they need it most, then every kilometre will be worth it.
If you’re able to donate, I’d be so incredibly grateful. Every little bit helps. ❤️
