This challenge has become especially personal for me.
My family recently had to rely on the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Australia is a big country, and for people living in rural, regional and remote communities, immediate medical care isn’t always close by. For some, the nearest hospital can be up to eight hours away. When your own family needs urgent help, you truly understand just how vital the RFDS is.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help raise funds so more families can access the care they need, wherever they live.
The RFDS supports more than 330,000 Australians every year—that’s one person every two minutes.
