Why I'm walking

As most of you know I grew up in western Queensland. The nearest hospital with a resident doctors is 2 hours drive away. Unfortunately my beautiful family has had to use the RFD in medical emergencies. Without them our family would not be the same. Everyone Australian regardless of where they live should have equal access to healthcare and emergency care. I’m hoping to raise as much as I can to help. I’ve put down walking but my goal is to run the 87km. I will update progress as I go. 🏃‍♀️If anyone can spare a few dollars it would be greatly appreciated and go to an amazing and life saving service for our friends and families outside of the cities.

I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Hi friends, as most of you know I grew up in western Queensland and my family is still living on the land. The nearest hospital with resident doctors is a 2 hour drive. Unfortunately our family has had to use the Royal Flying Doctors on a number of occasions and without them my family would not be the same.

This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!

So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
