Why I'm walking
This year, I’m walking from the ocean to the outback to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service. 🛩️💙
I’ve always believed that everyone should have access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live. The RFDS makes that possible for so many Australians living in rural and remote communities — often travelling enormous distances to provide care when it’s needed most.
As a nurse, healthcare is a huge part of my life, so supporting an organisation that works tirelessly to make healthcare accessible to people who might otherwise go without is something I’m really passionate about.
Every kilometre I walk is a small way of showing my support for the incredible doctors, nurses, pilots and teams who bring care to people across Australia.
If you’re able to donate or share my fundraiser, I’d be so grateful. Every contribution helps the RFDS continue to keep Australia’s most remote communities connected to essential healthcare. 💙
I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...

Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
6
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
6
