My target
87 km
Follow my journey from the Ocean to the Outback
Why I'm running
I'm running this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
After working throughout Australia, I have worked alongside RFDS crews when patients are retrieved and now as a regional Emergency Nurse receiving patients from rural facilities
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Anyone that knows me will know that I am definitely not a runner, I HATE RUNNING!! Which is why I have decided to challenge myself and will be joining the Royal Flying Doctors Service Oceans to Outback challenge
I will be trying my very best to complete 87km during the month of October if anyone has any tips or tricks oh how to best get this done please let me know
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work.
I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, so please donate, every little bit helps
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
8
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
5
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
4
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
