Why I'm running
Ive chosen to run for the RFDS this year.
We are so lucky to live where the doctors are just round the bend. But for many Aussies this is not the case.
That is where the RFDS come in. Helping Aussies all over the country get that essential medical care and supplies.
A service we truly need.
So this October im running 87km to raise much needed funds for the RFDS so they can continue to help Aussies when the call comes.
I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a massive country, and for people living in remote, rural and regional communities, access to urgent medical care can never be taken for granted. For some, the nearest hospital can be an eight-hour drive away.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more Australians access the care they need. I’ll be pushing myself to go further, with the goal of raising as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reaches more than 330,000 Australians through 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services — that’s one person every two minutes.
By supporting my challenge, you can help keep the Flying Doctor flying and ensure this vital, life-saving service can continue reaching Australians when and where they need it most.
Please donate today and help me make every kilometre count! ❤️✈️
