Rfds october found raising

This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge with my family (daughter, granddaughters & son in Vic, son in NSW with myself in WA) in team called "Across the States" to help more people access the care they need, therefore together, we are doing our bit to contribute towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), a service much needed in remote, rural, regional areas. November 2024 Tim required RFDS to be airlifted from Esperance Hospital to Royal Perth Hospital after falling 4.5metres, obtaining spinal injuries and breaking his wrist. Living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away, not a comfortable drive for someone with a broken back.
