Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

I haven't always lived near the comforts of Metropolitan life, and often I've relied on services such as the RFDS for advice and support - either for myself or my friends and colleagues.
The RFDS are essential for many rural and remote properties, for example: Did you know they provide remote communities with a huge range life-saving medications for emergency use? You just give them a call and they provide instructions on use and storage directly to those who need.
Further, if someone is in need of further care, they will travel (usually by air) to that location to bring them quickly back to a hospital.
I've relied on the RFDS, so I'm going to do my best to support them with their annual Oceans to Outback challenge.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
1
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
1
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
1
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
