Back on my feet

11th of October was a really bad day for my mental health and knocked me back if I'm honest for atleast another 2 days before I felt about more like myself again., Back on my feet again logging some KMs and steps, the universe seems to be in my corner blessing me with some beautiful local wildlife soaking up the golden hour sun, needless to say it was unexpected I didn't realise we got them in town this early in the afternoon. gifted with a invigorating yet refreshing walk to reset I'm ready to keep going and pushing strong.

Roos on the edge of town

tonight was a very late one, a nice cool midnight stroll after a hot day of swimming and staying cool. when my hopes came true of seeing some roos in a local known spot for them near the edge of town.

Walk with the misses'

today was Saturday the 4th, 4 days in. and I took my partner along with my on our own little fitness journey. you see were both new to this walking thing. using this fundraiser for the RFDS as the perfect inspiration and motivation to start., like alot of regional Australians we hold the RFDS close to our hearts, previously relying on them in the past to save family members close to us so we can enjoy more time with our loved ones thanks to our Australian heroes at the flying doctor service 🕊️❤️ it was warm in our town today, so naturally we left the walking to as late as possible and my misses snapped a shot of the vibrant sunset shining over our outback country on the edge of town ☀️

Photo from day 1

first day was a small walk, but a great start and a feel good moment for sure. day 4 today - 26 days to go

We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.

This October, we're taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, we hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to our challenge today!
