Short ride today, only 25.7km. We’re giving the body a break. Taking tomorrow off, then back into it on Thursday for a long ride.

Terry & I completed another 43.7k Ride this morning. Best part was the coffee stop & bum rest😂😂 & we’ll do it all again tomorrow morning 😳

We had the pleasure of riding with the Fraser Coast Cycling Club this morning & travelled just over 50km. We are invited back for next Saturday. Thanks to the club for their hospitality & the coffee shop. Cheers Peter & Terry Par Oneri

On the 04 October 25 the Tyre Biter Team held a Sausage Sizzle Sponsored by the Discovery Park at Torquay, Hervey Bay. The Manager Amanda & her team Christie, Thomas & Ryder did all the cooking & activities. $250 was raised & donated by the Discovery Park, so a huge thank you goes out for their help in raising these funds.

First a ride with the Fraser Coast Bicycle User Group then the first with the Tyre Biters Team.

Day three & another day closer to our goal. We had beautiful weather for our morning bike ride after having a hail storm yesterday afternoon. The only real challenge so far is dodging the Magpies 😂😂

Day two & we rode 31.5km. The body is feeling the sore muscles 😂😂 everything will be fine by day seven, then we can do a bit more.

We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.

This October, we're taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, we hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
