We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Long-time Leigh Creek friends Bek, Fizz, Annie & I have registered again for the Oceans to Outback October fundraiser for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
During this challenge, we’re attempting to collectively walk 400 kms.
The ‘Outback Leighkers’ team are raising funds along the way as this remote care from the air, was a medical lifeline for outback communities, during our time in Leigh Creek.
Many Leigh Creek residents have either been passengers, assisted with patients or sent loved ones on this remote life-line service.
