KICE is fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a vast country, and for communities like Kangaroo Island, access to immediate medical care isn’t always guaranteed. When emergencies happen, the nearest major hospital is hours away by road and sea.
That’s why the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is so vital for us. They’re our lifeline—bringing emergency care and essential health services to the island when we need them most.
This October, Kangaroo Island Community Education is taking on a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds so the Flying Doctor can keep supporting Kangaroo Island and other remote communities. Every year, RFDS helps over 330,000 Australians—that’s one person every two minutes!
Together, we can make sure the Flying Doctor continues their life-saving work for our island. Please support our challenge and donate today!
