Keep the Flying Doctor Flying: Join the John Flynn Hospital Challenge

Australia is a vast country, and for those living in remote, rural, and regional areas, access to immediate medical care isn’t always guaranteed. Some communities face a journey of eight hours or more just to reach the nearest hospital.

At John Flynn Hospital, named after Reverend John Flynn—the visionary founder of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)—we understand the vital importance of bringing healthcare to those who need it most, wherever they are.

This October, our team is taking on a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds that will help more Australians access essential care through the RFDS. By pushing ourselves further, we hope to support the lifesaving work that John Flynn started nearly a century ago.

Each year, the RFDS reaches over 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services—that’s one person every two minutes!

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and honour John Flynn’s legacy by ensuring that no one is too far from care. Please support our challenge with a donation today!
