Successful event
Iβm proud of Karen and I for completing many kilometres thinking of the small difference we will make in getting the help to those in need of critical care from the Royal Flying Doctors Service. Itβs a fantastic event over the month of October and I would recommend it to anyone well enough to do it. The milestone updates from the RFDS and cheering along on the Facebook page of those completing the same goal. Thank you for your support, we really appreciate it!Final 2 weeks of fundraising
Itβs the final 2 weeks for fundraising. So proud of what I have achieved so far and of Karen for smashing her goals. Courtney has been unable to commence the fundraising due to unforeseen circumstance and know she wanted to raise funds and be part of the fundraiser. Iβm digging deep these last two weeks, energy is lower and the heat is a big factor now. One foot in front of the other and one day at a time, we can do this for the RFDS!Fb group support and cheering on
The BOOST thatβs needed to keep going, so grateful for the fb group page, everyone working collectively for a goal. I was reluctant to put myself out there and post, but I did, and the support and encouragement amazing. I in turn supported others aswell. Raising money for the greater good. Keep pushing everyone! It was steamy today.

Today was tough
I found today tough, the heat, distance and my mood was flat because of the above. But I stayed focused and disciplined and kept putting one foot in front of the other. The cause is the drive! I posted on the group fb page and the encouragement on there really helped.Off with a bang!
We are off on our journey to fundraise for such a great cause! This means more than support, itβs showing dedication, commitment, strength anf deternination of those that work for the Royal Flying Doctors Service every day. Iβm going to pound the pavement and do the kilometres to prove my commitment to the cause. Thank you for your support! We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isnβt a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.
This October, we're taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, we hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. Thatβs one person every two minutes!
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to our challenge today!
