Help Deliver Care Where It’s Needed Most
Access to reliable healthcare is something many of us take for granted. But for people in remote, rural and regional areas, it’s not always within reach. In an emergency, time is critical. It can mean the difference between life and death.
This October, you can help change that.
Take on Oceans to Outback and walk, run or ride, while raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Every kilometre and every dollar helps the RFDS travel further, respond faster, and deliver essential care, no matter where it’s needed.

Go further with the Oceans to Outback community
In 2017, Brett had a life-threatening accident. With his injuries, he urgently needed to be transported from Berri to Adelaide. He was flown 238 kilometres by the Flying Doctor to receive critical care.
Oceans to Outback was the perfect excuse to maintain his walking habit and provide emergency care to more people like him. Brett set himself an ambitious goal of 242km — the total distance of his life-saving journey via air and road. He smashed it with a distance of 281km.
“Oceans to Outback truly restored a little faith in humanity for me, the amount of help and support from friends, family, RFDS and the O2O Facebook community was amazing and something I will never forget.”
