Boyles run for the Royal
Australia is a big country we all know that, for those living in remote, rural and regional areas of Australia access to immediate care can more often be very challanging or near impossible. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away which is crazy when you think about it.
This October, I’m taking on the month-long fitness challenge to help out people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Although it may not be you in need of that urgent care. its possibly a loved one, family member or just a really good mate might be.
Next time you or someone you love is traveling around the country side. You'll have the small peace of mind, if they ever get in trouble, you've given a small amount of help from a far by donating today.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
1
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
1
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
1
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
